The City Museum

The City Museum is a fun family attraction located in downtown St. Louis. It's built in the old International Shoe Company factory, the City Museum houses fun attractions like its caves, a gigantic indoor playground, and a truly unique circus.

The Hill

The Hill is an Italian Neighborhood in St. Louis. It's known for its shops and bakeries as well as its nationally acclaimed restaurants which all have one thing on the menus that wont be found in any other city, toasted ravioli.

The Old Courthouse

Downtown St. Louis is home to the Old Courthouse. This was the location for Dred Scott’s original freedom suit in 1847, leading to the famous Supreme court decision holding slaves to be property. Slaves were also sold here on the courthouse steps as part of estate settlements.

The Butterfly House

The heart of Butterfly House, in the tropical conservatory, houses nearly 2,000 tropical butterflies are in free flight. The house exhibits as many as 80 species of butterfly and 150 species of tropical plant.


The Jewel Box

These beautiful plants are found in the glittering glass case known as the Jewel Box. With its unconventional, cantilevered, vertical glass walls rising up a majestic 50 feet, the Jewel Box opened in 1930 to national acclaim. The St. Louis Post-Dispatch called the Art-Deco-Style structure,”the latest word in display greenhouses.”
